Each project must be initialized before row references, focus points, and seat elements may be placed.  The project may be initialized either from the Initialize button in the Setting panel in the Toolbar, or from the Application Settings Tab in the Settings window.  


Project Initialization performs the following functions:

  • Default families are loaded into the model from the Family File Location
  • Project default settings are stored in the model
  • Hidden storage elements are placed in the model for reference, and to maintain accuracy
  • Linetypes are created for row reference model lines


If a the application detects that a required family, linetype, or other setting has been deleted, it may suggest Re-Initializing the project to restore the elements.  This may be done through the Applications Settings tab in the Settings window.
