Donna Prichard
Chief Executive Officer
Donna has 35-years’ experience managing live theatrical organizations and consulting firms. Donna began her career at The Juilliard School and the Weston Playhouse. She would later become the Managing Director / Executive Director at PlayMakers Repertory Company in Chapel Hill, NC. For the past 15 years, Donna has been providing management consulting services and was the Controller and co-owner for Theatre Consultants Collaborative, a consulting firm specializing in theatres and concert halls. Donna leads Performance BIM’s business operations.
Jason Prichard
Chief Operating Officer
Jason shares his 30 years’ experience between technology, theatre architecture and systems design, and live performance production. As one of the initial members of Theatre Consultants Collaborative in 2003, Jason served as Principal Consultant on more than 300 projects focusing on rigging and audio-visual systems design. In 2018, Jason spearheaded TCC’s Revit workflow processes through family development and custom API processes, ultimately leading to the birth of Performance BIM. Prior to his work as a theatre consultant, Jason was the Assistant Technical Director and Production Manager for PlayMakers Repertory Company for 10 years, where he also served as an adjunct assistant professor for the graduate program at UNC-Chapel Hill for part of his tenure. Jason oversees client interaction, as well as application and systems development for Performance BIM.
Butch Garris
Chief Technology Officer
Butch has been in the live performance and entertainment industry for 25 years. Butch spent almost 20 years as the Production Manager and then Director of Production for Carolina Performing Arts and Memorial Hall, UNC-Chapel Hill’s primary presentation theatre. While at UNC, he aided with the addition and renovation of four performance spaces. In 2018, Butch joined Theatre Consultants Collaborative as a technical specialist, where he spearheaded the integration of BIM into their design workflows. Butch leads the modeling and family development process for Performance BIM.
Zach Lawless
Revit Family Development
Zach has over a decade of experience in live performance production, including as Production Manager at PNC Arena in Raleigh. He helped to reopen the newly renovated Memorial Hall on the campus of UNC Chapel Hill, serving as Production Manager with Carolina Performing Arts. Zach was Director of Operations at the Halton Theatre at CPCC in Charlotte, before spending several years with Live Nation as Director of Operations & Production at PNC Music Pavilion. Zach uses his years of experience in multiple performance venues to inform the creation of Revit assets for our specialty contractor and manufacturer clients.
Adam Maxfield
Project Management / Education
Coupled with his expertise in Revit family development and modeling, Adam brings a large breadth of experience in education, theatre, and corporate event management to Performance BIM. Prior to Performance BIM, Adam spent 14 years teaching for the Graduate Technical Production program at UNC Chapel Hill and serving as Technical Director for PlayMakers Repertory Company. Previously, Adam served as a Senior Project Manager for the Scenic Technologies division in the Las Vegas branch of Production Resource Group, where he managed scenery fabrication and installation. In addition, Adam has extensive experience working in regional theatres including Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Guthrie Theatre, and Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
Matt Stuttgen
Family Development and Modeling
Matt brings 15 years of live performance/technical direction experience, along with 5 years of project managing rigging installations to Performance BIM, where he supports construction modeling projects, digital asset development, and special projects. Prior to joining Performance BIM, Matt served as a project manager technical detailer for theatrical rigging installation, where he coordinated the outfit of over 300 performance spaces with equipment ranging from dead hung main drapes in schools to fully automated rigging in performing arts centers. In addition to his work at Performance BIM, Matt is an ETCP certified rigger, and provides inspections and consultation for theatrical rigging equipment across the greater Atlanta area.
