Alternating Rows Description

As described in the Seat Calculation Concepts, staggering the number of seats on alternating rows is a common way to achieve alternating row sightlines.  The application allows a user to decide the starting row, and whether the subsequent rows should be staggered.

The Starting Row combo has a choice of Even number of seats, Odd number of seats, or a Best Fit.  The Best Fit option will look at the first row's remaining length between the end of a seat and the end of a row reference, and use the option that minimizes this length.  If the Stagger Rows checkbox is checked, then the subsequent row will alternate to an even or odd based on the previous row.

Alternately, a user could decide to use all even seats, all odd seats, or allow the application to choose the best fit without staggering the rows by unchecking the Stagger Rows checkbox.

Note that the Stagger Rows checkbox will be unavailable with the Mirrored Large / Small Layout selection, as the alternating row stagger is achieved a different way.
